Male Lag Screws are designed for hanging chain link gates on solid wood posts. They work with any standard chain link female hinge with a 5/8" hole. Available in 4-1/2" and 6" lengths, these hinges work well with any size post that's strong enough to support your gate. Lag screws are adjustable, so you can hang gates that might not be a perfect fit.

Installation
Drill a starter hole in the wood post, and then use a wrench to tighten the lag screw in the post to the desired depth.
