MagnaLatch Series 3 Top Pull Safety Gate Latches are designed specifically for securing gates around swimming pools, home yards and child care centers where gates need to be secured against use by small children. The MagnaLatch Top Pull sits at the top of the gate and the latch release must be pulled upwards to open the gate, making it very difficult for children to reach or operate. These latches use patented magnetic technology and super-strong permanent magnets to eliminate the possibility of mechanical jamming while closing, ensuring a secure latching every time the gate is closed. This latch meets international codes for safe barriers, including pool safe barriers.

This Magnalatch Series 3 Top Pull latch is manufactureed from a durable, engineering-grade polymers with stainless steel internal components. The are key-lockable for added safety and can be rekeyed by a locksmith to match doors. The Series 3, which is 50% stronger than previous models, features a new locked / unlocked indicator on the front of the latch above the key hole.

MagnaLatches can be installed on virtually any type of gate, including wood, vinyl, composite, aluminum, and steel, as long as the posts are at least 1" square. They are easy to align and install with vertical and horizontal alignment indicators.
