Product Description
OZ-Post® T4-600 Wood Post Anchor — 4″×4″ (Fits 3-1/2″×3-1/2″) — 24″ Length
- No-Dig Foundation for 4×4 Posts — Drive-in ground anchor for standard dimensional lumber (actual 3-1/2″ square)
- Engineered for Hard/Dense Soils — Shorter, thicker fin profile improves penetration in hard-pack, rocky, asphalt, or root-laden areas
- Rugged, Long-Lasting Build — Hot-dip galvanized steel; suitable for contact with pressure-treated lumber
- Fast, Clean Install — Set posts without digging or concrete; build immediately after driving
- Chosen by Contractors — Ideal for picket & garden fences, signs, mailboxes, and similar light-to-medium-duty projects
The OZ-Post T4-600 is a 24″ drive-in anchor sized for 4×4 wood posts. Compared to the deeper T4-850, the T4-600’s fin is 30% shorter and 50% thicker to enhance driveability where soil is dense or obstructed—perfect when excavation is impractical. For taller fences, gate posts, or higher wind exposure, step up to the deeper T4-850 (34″). Installing a simple mailbox or similar? See the MB-24 Mailbox Anchor (27″).
Why Choose This
- Cleaner jobsites — No digging, no concrete, minimal mess
- Drive-and-build workflow — Set posts and start framing the same day
- Soil versatility — Optimized fin geometry for hard-packed and obstructed ground

Use the deeper T4-850 when posts are tall, carry higher loads, or soil is soft.

Buying Guide
- Soil & load: Choose T4-600 for dense/obstructed soils and light-to-medium-duty projects. For taller posts, gates, or windier sites, step up to T4-850 (34″).

Oz-post t4-600
Works like a charm. Jack hammer is definitely needed. Pray that you don't run into a boulder underground...Works flawlessly when you don't have rocks in the ground like I do. Thanks..

OZ-Post anchors
I have used these post anchors for years in many different applications. Bought a used electric jack hammer from a rental business to install them. Super happy with how they speed up the process of putting in fences and decks. Had to pull a few out to move in a building recently--took a skid steer to get them out of the ground! Great product that not enough people know about!
