The T4-600 Oz-Post is a heavy duty post anchor designed for standard dimensional lumber posts with a nominal size of 4" x 4" and an actual size of 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".  It is ideal for fencing and sign posts that are being installed in very firm, hard terrain. It is also perfect for shorter fences with sizes ranging from 24" to 60" and fences that don't have a heavy wind load.

For small projects, you can use a sledgehammer with a scrap piece of 4x4 to drive in the post anchor. Simply sit the scrap wood in the sleeve so that 4-5 inches of wood are exposed, and use the sledgehammer to pound down on the wood and drive the anchor into the ground. The OZCO Manual Driving Kit makes it easier to pound the anchors into the ground. This tool is designed to fit into the anchor and use gravity to assist you in driving the anchor. It is recommended for medium sized projects, or multiple small projects. Larger projects of over 10 posts are best paired with the Jackhammer Driver Kit (JDK) and a jackhammer (available to rent at most hardware stores). Using the jackhammer, you can install these anchors (under most conditions) in minutes, saving time and effort on the job site.
