OZCO’s Ornamental Wood Ties (OWT) Ironwood Faux Post Bases give you the bold, architectural look of anchored posts without the need for anchoring. Designed purely for aesthetics, these bases dress up posts that are already installed or set in the ground, creating the illusion of heavy-duty structural hardware. The result is a professional, finished appearance that elevates outdoor projects.
Unlike plain steel bases that are meant to be hidden, OZCO’s Ironwood series is designed to be featured. The rugged, architectural plates accentuate your design while protecting the base of your posts from scuffs and wear. Each plate is made from hot-dip galvanized steel with an exterior-grade black powder coat, ensuring durability and resistance to rust. As with all OWT hardware, they are approved for use with ACQ-treated lumber and are compatible with a wide range of wood species.
