Build decks, ramps, sheds, and other load-bearing outdoor structures without concrete footers using the OZ-Deck OD-T4. This 12″ × 12″ galvanized plate is driven into the ground together with an OZ-Post anchor, creating a stable footing that has been independently tested to hold 6,500+ lb. The plate is specifically matched to T4-850 (4×4) and T6-700 (6×6, deck-plate use) anchors: simply position each plate, drive the corresponding OZ-Post through the center opening, and fasten your post. In freeze–thaw zones, the broad bearing surface and driven anchor help resist heave and settlement while keeping posts elevated above wet soil.
Why Choose This
- Concrete-free workflow — Set footings and start framing the same day
- Cleaner jobsite — Minimal excavation; ideal where digging is impractical
- Predictable performance — Tested load capacity and system-matched components

Installation
Lay out footing locations and call 811 to locate utilities. Place an OD-T4 plate at each mark. Using a manual or jackhammer driver kit, drive the matched OZ-Post anchor through the plate until the sleeve is at grade and the plate bears on the soil. Insert your post and fasten through the sleeve with exterior-grade hardware. In rocky soils, pre-drill or use an alternate footing as required. Follow local building codes for spacing, frost depth requirements, and uplift/bracing details.

Buying Guide
- System pairing: Use OD-T4 plates with T4-850 (4×4) or T6-700 (6×6) anchors for load-bearing applications.

Great service on a great product.
Signet was the only company selling this plate as a single unit. Everyone else I found sold them only in sets of six. I needed one to go with my OZ-Post assembly that's supporting a large bird feeder. I wanted the extra bracing the heavy gauge plate provides.
