OZCO OWT Ironwood Post Bands

OZCO OWT Ironwood Post Bands protect and beautify your wood posts by preventing them from splitting and cracking. These bands apply pressure on all sides of your post and hold the wood tightly together. They can be used on posts that are already cracked to keep them from cracking further, or on new posts to stop them from cracking altogether. They are adjustable, so you can use them with rough cut or smooth cut lumber, and they are approved for use with ACQ lumber.
Unlike most functional outdoor connectors, OWT hardware is designed with appearance top of mind. The Ironwood style adds a rugged, rustic look to your project with its clean, angular shape and heavy duty construction. All of the hot-dip galvanized components are powder coated with a beautiful, exterior-grade powder coat that lasts a lifetime and protects the steel from rust and corrosion. There are also no sharp edges or exposed hardware that can catch shirts or present a safety hazard for your family and guests.

Installation (Quick Steps)
- Measure & choose size — Confirm your post’s actual dimension and select 4×4, 6×6, or 8×8 accordingly.
- Wrap & align — Place the band around the post; align visually so faces are centered and level.
- Fasten evenly — Start all screws, then tighten in a cross pattern to draw the band snug with even compression.
- Finish — Tap in the decorative plugs to conceal the screw heads; re-check snugness after the first week of weathering.

Ozco post bands
Quality product. I used the Laredo series hardware on the whole pergola & for some reason the post bands DO NOT come in Laredo. Big bummer. However, dealer shipped quick & packaging was good.
