The OZCO Manual Driving Kit (MDK-13) is an innovative way to drive your OZ-Post Post Anchors into the ground without the hard work of swinging a heavy jackhammer, or the added expense of renting a jackhammer. This is perfect for small projects of 1-6 OZ-Posts. Any more than that, and we recommend renting a jackhammer and using the Jackhammer Driver Kit (JDK-01) because the time savings will make up for the extra expense. The Manual Driving Kit contains a drive rod which uses gravity and its own weight, with a little assistance from you, to drive the post into the ground. It also contains an HSP-T4 Hammer-Spacer for 4 x 4 post anchors. The Hammer-Spacer slides down into the OZ-Post and centers the drive rod to ensure an even blow.
Why Choose This
- Simpler setup — No power cords or compressors; ideal for limited-access sites
- Consistent alignment — Spacer centers the driver to help keep anchors plumb while driving
- Portable & reusable — Tough construction with a carry case for repeat jobs

Installation
Lay out post locations and call 811 to locate utilities. Place your OZ-Post® anchor, insert the HSP spacer that matches the anchor family, then slide the MDK-13 driver over the spacer. Use controlled upward pulls and downward slides to drive the anchor to grade, checking plumb periodically with a post level. For longer runs or dense soils, consider switching to a jackhammer driver for speed.

Buying Guide
- Manual vs. jackhammer: MDK-13 shines on short projects and tight spots. For large runs, step up to the JDK-10 Jackhammer Driver Kit to save time.
- Spacers for other anchors: Pair the driver with spacers sized for your anchors (e.g., HSP-T6 for 6×6 T6, HSP-T46 for 4×6 T46).
